Movement's documentation team has completed a major refresh project that addresses outdated content, rebrands the organization, and repairs a comprehensive set of broken external links. The effort audited and DNS-verified all 215 external URLs referenced in the docs, fixing issues across 39 files.
Mainnet Live and Network Status Updated
The documentation now reflects Movement's current network state. Network overview pages have been updated from "Timeline & Roadmap (Current: Devnet)" to "Network Status: live on Mainnet." The "Coming Soon" callouts for mainnet and outdated references to Celestia have been removed. Connection guides were refreshed to reflect available networks: "Mainnet and Testnet" now replace references to deprecated Devnet and Testnet endpoints.
Move Industries Rebrand and Link Standardization
All references to "Movement Labs" have been updated to "Move Industries" across 25 mentions in 15 files, with product-prefix cases simplified to "Movement" (e.g., "Movement Labs Testnet" → "Movement Testnet"). Official channels were standardized: Twitter points to `https://x.com/movement_xyz`, and the Discord invite now directs to `discord.com/invite/moveindustries`. Working GitHub organization slugs at `github.com/movementlabsxyz/...` were preserved as they remain functional.
Devnet Removed and Infrastructure References Cleaned
The deprecated Devnet network page and associated full-node guide have been removed from the documentation. Dead RPC and infrastructure host references (including `aptos.`, `.bardock`, and `full.*.movementinfra` endpoints) were replaced with canonical `mainnet/testnet.movementnetwork.xyz` endpoints. Approximately 12 devnet references were cleaned across guides. Additional dead links—including references to the developer forum, validator waitlist, newsletter, Battle of Olympus, Quorum Store, and expired MNS preview links—were removed.
The team documented intentional follow-ups, including CLI output updates pending upstream changes and API specification fixes that require coordination with the Aptos rustdoc source.
